Mr. Nilton Paul Eschette

Mr. Nilton Paul Eschette, 84, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Eagle Island, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at 10:35 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, L. Nelcie Toups Eschette; sons, Nilton (Kathy) and Weldon (Madonna) Eschette; daughters, Nelcie (Carroll) Guidry and Nelda (Michael) Bourgeois; sister, Pearl Arceneaux; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland, La. He was a member of the Cattleman’s Association and Woodmen of the World.

He is buried at Resurrection Memorial Park in Raceland.
