December 7, 2009Mr. Richard J. Lirette, 72, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009 at 5:40 a.m.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Lirette and Amy (Denis) Wong; brother, Gary (Louise) Lirette; sister, Connie Lirette; and three grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked for Hughes Aircraft and was responsible for managing programs for the launching of missiles and rockets.
