Ms. Adenise Picahuffe Dugas, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at 12:39 a.m.


She is survived by her son, Carroll (Pamela) Dugas; daughter, Janice (Barry) Johnson; sisters, Marie Dugas and Eva Kreamer; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church. She worked beside her husband in their family owned business, Dugas Bros. Supermarket, for 40 years. She loved and was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and participating in Southdown Marketplace.

She is buried at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
