Ms. Audry Authement Falgout

Ms. Audry Authement Falgout, 85, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.

She is survived by her daughter, Corliss (Merwin) Chambers; sister, Marguerite Pellegrin; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

She was a division manager of the catalog department at Sears for 27 years. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church where she was a member of Ladies Altar Society. She was a member of the VFW Aux. 9608 in Chauvin and a the Terrebonne High School Class of 1942 which still meets monthly for lunch. She was a mall walker, having walked over 2000 miles.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
