November 23, 2009Ms. Doris Dean Parfait, 68, a native and resident of Dulac, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at 3:15 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Preston (Violet) Parfait Jr. and Clarence Guidry; daughters, Cathy (Claude Jr.) Dardar, Mae (Charles III) Edwards and Elma (Randy) Robichaux; brothers, Elton, Morris, Cyrus and Oris Dean; sisters, Eva Underwood, Alice Stringer, Mary Ann Dean and Gloria Pellegrin; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Provost Cemetery in Dulac.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
