Ms. Leona Blanchard Pellegrin

Ms. Leona Blanchard Pellegrin, 80, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at 11:55 a.m.

She is survived by her sons, Karl, Terry and Timmy (Patrica) Pellegrin; daughters, Walterine (Lawrence) Lirette, Lisa (Craig) LeBoeuf, Gladys (Wayne) Authement and Shirlene Pellegrin; brothers, Durey, Ronnie and Raymond Blanchard; sister, Mandy Gautreaux; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
