Ms. Mae Ella Marie Carlos, 70, a native of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at 12:40 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, Jodi Carlos Trahan and Kayla Leigh Carlos; brother, Floyd (Carolyn) Dupre; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Carlos; parents, Clifton and Mildred Dupre; brothers, Russell, Clifton Jr. and Leroy Dupre; and sister, Agnes Smith.
She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. She was a wonderful wife and mother, although she didn’t birth her children naturally, they were conceived in her heart long before they were born.
Burial was Thursday, Nov. 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
