Ms. Mary Ann Danos

Ms. Mary Ann Danos, 75, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at 9:10 p.m.

She is survived by her sons, Emile (Earline) and Randall (Lisa) Danos; daughter, Debra Danos; brother, Houston Callahan; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Joseph Danos; parents, Felix and Stella Landry Callahan; and sister, Rita Callahan.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was also a member of Mary’s Helpers, Charismatic Renewal Movement and was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a homemaker whose hobbies were gardening, sewing, crocheting and cooking.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
