November 18, 2009Ms. Mary Harleston Mingee, 86, a native of Greenwood, Miss., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at 7:45 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Asleigh Rose and Susan Ruffin; brothers, Dow and Robert Harleston; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Malcolm Mingee; and parents, Ashleigh and Mary Conn Harleston.
She was a member of Pollard Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Federation for the Blind.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at Magnolia Cemetery in Lucedale, Miss.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
