Ms. Raquel Marie Thomas, 23, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 11:55 a.m.
She is survived by her fiance, Jordon Cheatham; parents, Felicia Thomas and Freddie Diaz; daughter, Semaria Cheatham; sister, Shelly Thomas; and brothers, Danderay and Freddie Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vera and Harold Thomas and Earl Young Sr. and Elizabeth Burrows.
She was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church.
A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at Allen Chapel AME Church with burial at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
