Ms. Vicki Ann Breaux Pertuit

Ms. Vicki Ann Breaux Pertuit, 62, a native of Delcambre, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn J. Pertuit; sons, Maurice (Chris) Babin, Wade Pertuit, and Carl (Terri) Gremillion; daughters, Angela (James III) Tabor, and Carrie Pertuit; sister, Mitzi Solito; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother and a friend to many. She touched everyone she knew. For 23 years her joy was helping children learn. She was a teacher’s aid at Legion Park and then East Houma School. She helped everyone in need. She was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland, La. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
