October 7, 2011Murphy J. Adams, 76, a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011.
Mr. Adams was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Nabisco after 35 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling and eating out. He loved his friendships and tried to keep in touch with as many friends as possible.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gisela Adams; sons, Eric and Kurt Adams; brother, Oley (Sylvia) Adams; granddaughter, Kim (Josh) Lansford; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramond Adams; mother, Bernice Rodrigue; and sister, Patricia Ponvelle. (Thibodaux)
