Nathan Wayne Ivy, 2, native of Houma, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died in Bayou L’Ourse, La., Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010.

He is survived by his parents, Jamie Lee and Rhonda Hughes Ivy; brother, James Cecil Thomas Ivy; maternal grandparents, Rodney and Debaroh Ackman Hughes; paternal grandmother, Samantha Ivy; aunts, Lisa (Beda) Guerrero, Christine Hughes and Brandi (Timothy) Kearns; godfathers, Jason Giddens and Thomas (Samantha Thomas) Hughes; uncle, Cecil (Chasity) Ivy Jr.; godmother, Buffy Ackman; great-grandfather, Nicholas Davans; and maternal great-grandmother, Noella Keller.


He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Thomas Ackman Sr.; great-aunts, Lisa Ackman and Jenny Ackman; and grandfather, Cecil Ivy Sr.

Nathan is buried at Bell River Baptist Cemetery.

Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
