December 10, 2009Houma Christmas parade set to roll
December 15, 2009Nealy Gaines III, 75, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Labadieville, La., died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Almatine Gaines; daughters, Eldora, Mary and Gertrude Gaines; sons, Clifton and Willie Gaines; brothers, Charles, Roland and Larry Gaines; sisters, Mildred and Joyce Gaines, and Rosa Bell North; and 18 grandchildren; and a host.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter; and three sons.
Mr. Gaines was a retired railroad employee.
He is buried at St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery in Napoleonville.
