Nelda Richard Orgeron, 93, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died Monday, November 3.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Orgeron and wife Sally, Gerald D. Orgeron and wife Betty, and Donald Orgeron; daughters, Judy Bergeron and husband Walzie, and Ethel Theriot and husband Eugene Jr.; brother, Louis Richard; daughter-in-law, Nita Orgeron; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Ines Orgeron; parents, Clirfe and Luda C. Richard; sons, Harry, Gerald J., Milton and Raymond Orgeron; sister, Tolly Barrilleaux; and one grandchild.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose and a member of the Holy Rosary Ladies Altar Society.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off, La.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
