December 31, 2009Nelson Joseph Benoit, 73, a native and resident of Schriever, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
Mr. Benoit enjoyed playing music fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Mayet Benoit; daughter, Denise Andre’; brother, Nedward Benoit; sister, Rita Rodrigue; and three grandchildren, Dawn and Keith Clause and Jessie Andre’.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Renais Adams Benoit; brother, Elton Benoit; and sister, Mary Westerman.
He is buried at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery in Schriever.
