Nettie Button

Nettie Chauvin Button, 65, a native and resident of Bourg, La. died Friday, September 21, 2007, at 11:59 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Leroy Button, Jr.; one son, Carl Button and his wife Monique; two daughters, Mary Catherine Stevison and her husband Lester and Anne Margaret Matherne and her husband Ronnie; one sister, Betty Chauvin Bramblett; four grandchildren, Brian Dupre, Taylor Dupre, Lindsey Button, and Bryce Button; and one great-grandchild, Blaith Thibodaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lena Boquet Chauvin, Sr.; and two brothers, Edward Chauvin, Jr. and Anthony Chauvin.

Nettie was a devout Catholic. She was dedicated Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was joyful, compassionate, and loving to everyone she knew. She will truly be missed by all her friends and family.

Visitation is Thursday, September 27, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
