June 21, 2011Nina Chiasson Ledet, 86, a native and resident of Choupic, La., died Friday, June 17, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Vonnie) Ledet; daughter, Cheryl Hebert; sisters, Lodia Rodrigue, Mary Marcello, Millie Grazier and Dotti Howard; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Ledet; parents, Wallace and Alice Chiasson; and brothers, Joseph, Wilbert, Wiley, Preston, Sheldon and Albert Chiasson.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Chackbay, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart)
