Nita Sevin Bergeron, 86, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., then LaPlace, La., died Sunday, May 25.
She is survived by her son, Richard Bergeron and wife Delores; daughters, Judy Andrews and companion Rich Odom and Connie Mendel and fiancé John Miller; sister, Earline Folse; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bergeron; parents, Willie and Azama Orgeron Sevin; and brothers, Walter and Sidney Sevin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Place Dubourg, 201 Rue Dubourg, LaPlace, La., 70068.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
