Lafourche mother kills her children

Noelie L. Zeringue, 85, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, August 19, 2007, at 10:45 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Claude LeCompte; one sister, Ida Otillio; one special nephew, Shannon LeCompte; one special niece, Bonnie Alario; one special sister-in-law, Iva LeCompte Guillot; and three grandchildren, Abbey, Addey, and Megan LeCompte.
She was preceded in death by her husband Camille Zeringue; her parents, Claude and Annell Martin LeCompte; and four brothers, Wilmer, Elton, Amton, and Norris LeCompte.
Noelie was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland.
Visitation is Monday, August 20, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and Tuesday, August 21, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
