Nolan Joseph Thibodeaux, 73, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, March 1, at 7:05 p.m.


He is survived by his wife, Mary Pearl Mount Thibodeaux of Houma; daughter, Becky Hebert and husband, Mark O. Hebert, of Houma; sister, Yvonne Thibodeaux Martinez of St. Charles Community; grandchildren, Michael Thibodeaux and wife, Renee Martin Thibodeaux, of Covington, La., and Sarah E. Lachney of Alexandria, La.; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Thibodeaux and Kaleb Thibodeaux of Covington.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Joseph Thibodeaux and Edna Fanguy Thibodeaux; and brothers, Enos J. Thibodeaux and Roland J. Thibodeaux.

He was retired vice president for Fireside Life Insurance and was a member of the Elks Lodge and Bayou State Elks Camping Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, Chauvin Funeral Home followed by the Liturgy of the Word. He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
