August 7, 2013Nolan Phillip LeCompte Jr., 77, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, July 26, 2013.
Mr. LeCompte was a professor at Nicholls for 32 years and retired as executive vice president for academic affairs. He was Professor Emeritus and a military veteran.
He is survived by his brothers, Thomas and Daniel (Patti) LeCompte; and nieces and nephew, Angela (Carl) Mothes and Andre and Danielle LeCompte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan Sr. and Hazel LeCompte; and companion, James Cowan. (Samart)
