Nolton Joseph Hornsby Jr., 73, a native of New Orleans, La., died Tuesday August 26, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Price Hornsby; one son, Glenn Hornsby and wife Glenny; one daughter, Dawn Magee and husband Mike; five grandchildren, Dane Chapell Magee, Paige Erin Magee, Carleigh Dawn Magee, Michelle Authement and Michael Soudlier; and one great-grandson, Steven Authement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolton Joseph Hornsby Sr. and Eva Falterman Hornsby; and one son, Dane Hornsby.
He was the former owner and operator of Oswald Ironworks in Houma, La.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, September 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow. He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
