Norita Price Trahan, 88, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Sunday, August 10, at 6:32 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Eulan and Gladys Trahan; daughter, Lou and Ferrel Carlas; sister, Onezia Authement; 10 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Trahan; parents, Joseph Price and Alice Pellegrin Price; brothers, Chester Price and Adam Price; and sister, Mazie Pellegrin.
She loved fishing, gardening and cooking.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, August 14, at the K.C. Hall in Chauvin with religious services to follow. She will be buried at Grace Christian Memorial Garden in Houma, La.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
