Norma B. Morrison Harrington, 88, a native of Hancock County, Ky., and resident of Louisville, Ky., died Tuesday, May 31, 2011


Mrs. Harrington loved her family and creating a beautiful home. She was a willing volunteer as a leader for Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Y-Teens, PTA, band sponsors and the Presbyterian Church. She spent many happy hours at the camp, “Norma B”, fishing, traveling in their travel trailer and entertaining family and friends.


She is survived by her children, Pat (Mike) Reddrick, Donna (Ed) Lupberger and Cliff (Elizabeth) Harrington; five grandchildren, Kate and Beau (Beth) Harrington, Isaac (Sophia) and Coogan Ryan and ZiZi (James) Yockey; and four great-grandchildren, Claire and Luke Ryan, and Edie and Ryan Yockey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Litherland Harrington.


The family would like to thank her caregivers at the Homestead and her special helpers, Irma, Dee, Linda, Liza and Denise.

She will be missed by her family and friends and her sweet Yorkie, “Sammi”.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to French Camp Academy, One Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745-9703 or the charity of your choice.

She is buried at Old Protestant Cemetery in Lafayette, La. (Chauvin)
