Norman Parks Jr., 64, a native of Westwego, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 11:45 p.m.
He is survived by his mother, Selma Parks; four daughters, Norma Parks, Charlotte Griffin, Toby Lecompte and Mercedes Grabert; one stepson, Darin Vesey; two brothers, Ganard and Ricky Parks; one sister, Eva Plaisance; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Parks; and his father, Norman Parks Sr.
Services will be held at a later date.
Norman is donating his body to science.
