Norris A. Fayette, 81, a native and resident of Mathews, La., died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Fayette; daughter, Brenda Erving; stepdaughter, Cindy (Barry) Allemand; brothers, Earlis and Martin Jr. Fayette; sister, Rosemary Foret; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Fayette; parents, Martin Sr. and Rita Fayette; brothers, Earl, Norman and Herman Fayette; sisters, Josephine Guidroz and Velma Comeaux; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at First United Pentecostal Church in Mathews with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland, La. (Falgout)
