Norris J. Simoneaux, 80, a native and resident of Charenton, La., died at 1:55 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011.
Mr. Simoneaux was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Simoneaux; children, Cynthia (Bobby) Buteaux, Gisele (Robert) Durocher, Harvey Simoneaux and Melissa (David) Cestia; brother, Melvin (Theresa) Simoneaux; sister, Lucinda (Wallace) McElfresh; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wibry Sr. and Ludy Simoneaux; brothers, Harvey and Wibry Simoneaux Jr.; and great-grandson, Jaden Buteaux.
Burial was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
