Notilia Margaret Deroche Triche, 89, a native of Bourg, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010.
Mrs. Triche was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed caring for her large family; being a thrifty and giving person she could do large things with little. She gave her time and energy to anyone in need.
She is survived by her sons, Russell, Freddie and David Triche; daughters, Pearline Adams, Geraldine Randall, Mary Aucoin, Sue Dupree, Janice Pollett, Katy Guillory and Jackie Oliver; sisters, Betty Giroir, Elma Leblanc and Marion Richard; brother, James Deroche; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella Arceneaux Deroche; husband, Haywood John Triche; five brothers; and two grandchildren, Robie Lynn Adams Sauce and Charles Theriot.
She is buried at Gibson Cemetery.
