Ola Zeringue Pierce, 92, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, April 4, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Alicia (Ronnie) Weimer and Fannie (Wilbert) Allemand; son, Bryan Pierce; sister, Mary Joyce Aupied; eight grandchildren, Glenn and Rickey Allemand, Patty Guidroz, Melanie Jaccuzzo, Ron, Randy and Greg Weimer and Cindy Poiencot; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pierce; parents, Anicet and Edna Poche Zeringue; brothers, Roland, LeRoy and Darwin “Sonny” Zeringue; sisters, Doris Adams, Viva Breaux, Margaret Rodrigue and Iris Bourgeois; and one great-grandchild, Evan Weimer.
She is buried at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
