Raising homes reaches above the threat

Olive Helen Gautreaux, 89, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
Mrs. Gautreaux was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. She was a member of Annunziata Ladies Alter Society and she loved playing bingo being surrounded by her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Wilton (Bonnie) Gautreaux Jr.; daughters, Vickie (Roy) Armstrong and Debra (Alton) Dupre; daughter-in-law, Barbara Gautreaux; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Vital Falgout; spouse, Wilton Joseph Gautreaux; son, Dale Gautreaux; grandson, Tommy John Wallis; brothers, Russell, Ruffin, Gerald and Eustace Falgout; and sister, Annice Falgout Dupre.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
