Olive Marie Larousse Rome, 87, a native and resident of Kraemer, LA., died at 6:56 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007.


Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Lawrence Church in Kraemer. A religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


She is survived by her daughters, Margie Loupe, Jane Brown and husband, Ed, Linda Fay and husband, Charles Landry, and Gail Vidrine and husband, Charlie; her brother, Edne Larousse; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Exso Augusta Rome; her son, Jerral Joseph Rome; her son-in-law, Michael Loupe; her brothers, Felix and Desire Larousse; her grandson, Mickey Landry; her sisters, Uranie Martinez, Elise Nicholas, and Elmira Adams; and her great-granddaughter, Traci Duplantis.

She was a parishoner of St. Lawrence Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
