Oliver A. Hebert, 66, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, April 29 at 12:38 a.m.


He is survived by his wife Merrill R. Hebert; sons, Brian Hebert and wife Julie Hebert and Scott Hebert Sr.; daughters, Evelyn H. Bergeron and husband Keith Bergeron; brothers, Walter Hebert and Alan Hebert; sister, Sundae Hebert; and grandchildren, Kristy, Derrik, Scott Jr., Jeremy, Brett and Josh Hebert, Keyla Bourgeois and Keith Bergeron Jr.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Raoul Hebert and Lorraine Ordogne Hebert.

He was a member of the Houma Lions Club and Boy Scouts of America. He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at St. Hilary Catholic Church with a memorial service to follow. He will be buried at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
