Oliver Henry LeBlanc Sr., 77, a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, May 31, 2014.


Mr. LeBlanc was a graduate of Loyola University with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. He was the owner of Professional Pharmacy in Franklin, La., for 10 years then was employed by Eli Lilly and Company for 27 years. He volunteered regularly at the St. Vincent de Paul Pharmacy and was a member of the Krewe of Terreanians, Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus and Air Force Reserve. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and reader. 

He is survived by his daughters, Andre (John) Roberts and Phyllis (Michael) Peoples; son, Oliver Jr. (Cathy) LeBlanc; brothers, Felix Jr. (Carleen) and Thomas (LeeAnn) LeBlanc; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix LeBlanc and Louise Burges.


Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 6, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with interment to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
