Jury convicts Houston officer in “Up Da Bayou Boyz” case in federal court

Olivia Breaux Anthony, 62, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016.
Mrs. Anthony was married for 37 years. She had retired in 2012 from teaching and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, gardening, arts and crafts and travelling. She was a kind and caring person, who helped others whenever needed. Mrs. Anthony came from a large family with nine brothers and sisters. She was a member of St. Gregory Church in Houma.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Anthony; son, James Anthony; daughters, Lori and Megan Anthony; two grandsons; sisters, Doris Pulley, Anita Bergeron, Dolores (Mike Armit) Babin and Joyce (George) McElroy.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Gregory in her memory is acceptable. Burial is at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
