Ollie Newton Pellegrin, 93, native of Marksville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, July 29, at 8:09 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Michael Paul Pellegrin and wife Susan; daughter, Sydney Marie Pellegrin; five grandchildren, John Backstrom, Sidney Backstrom, Margaret Duvic, Shelley Pellegrin and Taylor Pellegrin; and four great-grandchildren, Jayne Backstrom, Andrew Backstrom, Seth Backstrom and Cameron Pellegrin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Anthony Pellegrin; and her parents, Fredrick and Inez Broulette Newton.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, at St. Gregory Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery no. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
