Ophelia Jones, 89, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, July 10, at 3:30 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Brickley and Michael Brickley; and daughters, Dorothy Hunter and Wanda Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezekiel Jones Jr.; parents, James Reese and Olevia Smith Turner; brothers, James Reese and Albert Turner; and sister, Virgie Thomas.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Raceland with a memorial service to follow. She will be buried at Morning Star Cemetery in Raceland.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
