Ora “Rose” Jackson Johnson, 74, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, November 10.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Johnson of Houma; five sons, Donald Jackson, Steve Lee Jackson and wife Christina, Darnell Johnson, Darryl Johnson and Clarence Sneeze, all of Houma; four daughters, Betty Jackson, Janice Jackson and Debbie Crawford, all of Houma, and Shelia Johnson of Morgan City, La.; two brothers, Hewitt Jackson and Dale Jackson of Houma; two sisters, Mary Poindexter and Elaine Jackson of Houma; 30 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Amy Harris Jackson; two sons, Derrell Johnson and Earl Jackson; two brothers, Clarence Jackson and Clifton Jackson; and one sister, Hester Shephard.
She was a homemaker and was Baptist.
She was buried at Southdown Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
