August 25, 2011Orelie J. Dugruise Jr., 87, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011.
He is survived by his sons, Orelie III (Jeanette) and Allen (Penny) Dugruise; daughters, Cheryl (Blaine) Doucet and Lora Benoit; sisters, Isabelle Vicknair and Veraldine Martinez; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Dugruise; parents, Orelie and Mabel Dugruise; brother, Hensley Dugruise; and great-grandson, Hunter Prejeant.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel with religious services to follow. (Thibodaux)
