Construction on Bayou-themed kids’ museum to begin soon

Owen John Mullins, 57, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Destrehan, La., died Thursday, June 9, 2011.
He is survived by his daughter, Kara Norville; brother, Barney Mullins Jr.; sisters, Vanessa Folse, Rochelle Mullins and Babette Marse; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney Mullins and Ruth Wood; and step-mother, Rochelle Mullins.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 16, at Life Fellowship Church in Bayou Gauche, La. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. (Falgout)
