Ozama “Boss” Thibodeaux Jr., 70, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011.
Mr. Thibodeaux served in the U.S. Armed Forces and received an honorable discharge where he received awards for automatic rifle expert and sharpshooter on rifle. He was a retired Thibodaux city policeman after serving 15 years. After retiring from the police department, he loved to go fishing and was an avid cook. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons and spending time with his family. “Boss” will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Chenier Thibodeaux; daughter, Angela (Richard) Acosta; son, Anthony (Joyce) Dugas; brothers, A.J. and Horace; sisters, Hazel, Helen and Patrica; four grandsons, Duane, Ryan, Tyler and Casey; one granddaughter, Lelia; and one great-granddaughter, Chloe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ledia and Ozama Sr. Thibodeaux.
He is buried at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
