Pasty Mae Thomas Sims, 67, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012.

Mrs. Sims was a member of Moses Baptist Church and a homemaker.


She is survived by her husband, Rev. Isaac Sims III; son, Isaac Sims IV; daughter, D’Juan (Michael) Suggs; sisters, Betty Daigs and Beulah (Talpha) Harvey; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Jr. and Eula Thomas; brothers, Earl and Ernest Thomas; and grandparents, Freddie and Priscilla Lockett and Wallace Sr. and Bertha Thomas.

Burial was at Moses Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux, La. (Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne)
