Patricia “Pat” Ann McKey, 66, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011.

Ms. McKey was a prior owner of Houma Valve, chairwoman of the Houma Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board, a member of the Women’s Oilfield Auxiliary and a supporter of My Heart’s Desire and Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelters. She was a political activist, a supporter of good government and the Houma Police and Fire Departments. She was a very charitable person who loved her family and pets. She was a kind and generous person who will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.


She is survived by her son, Drew Soudelier; daughter, Monique Soudelier; brother, Carroll McKey Jr.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrol Sr. and Margurite McKey

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to My Heart’s Desire, Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter and any Cancer Association. (Chauvin)
