Patricia Fontana Bellanger, 69, a native of New Orleans, La. and resident of Mathews, La., died at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bellanger of Mathews; two sons, Vincent Lusco and Kevin Lusco of Houma, La.; two daughters, Angela Lusco Trahan and husband, Timothy, of Houma, and Kelly Lusco Merges and husband, Milan, of Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers, Charles Fontana of Mathews, Steve Fontana of Thibodaux, La. and Peter Fontana of Tx.; five sisters, Merian Henry, Rosemary Pizzolatto of Houma, Congetta Burke of Labadieville, La., Jeannie Ward of Ellisville, Miss., and Kathryn Mizell of Charlotte; and two grandchildren, Troy Lusco and Tyler Lusco of Houma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent Fontana and Congetta Solito Fontana; one son, Clint Lusco; and two sisters, Clara Fontana and Ann Bergeron.
She was a retired nurse with Raceland Manor Nursing Home and Evangeline Village Nursing Home.
She was a volunteer at Lafourche Parish Food Bank. She loved working in her garden and was a loving and dedicated caregiver to her patients.
She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
