Patricia Anne Uselton Mason Blanchard, 60, a native of Chicago, Il., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died after a five-year battle with cancer Wednesday, August 15, 2007.


She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Blanchard; two daughters, Rosella Guttadauro and her husband Joe and Amelia Mason; one son, Robert Mason; two stepchildren, Melody Blanchard and Russell Blanchard; two sisters, Marcia Fradenburg and her family and Barbara J. Cochran and sons; and four grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Anne and Bob Uselton; and her first husband, Albert Mason.

Patricia was a loving wife to “Chuck” for 18 1/2 years. She started her own bookkeeping/tax business in California that she brought with her to Louisiana and carried over some of her California clients by way of mail, fax, e-mails and telephones when she moved to Thibodaux in 1995. She lived in the San Francisco/San Jose area for 40 years from 1954 to 1995. She graduated from Palo Alto Senior High in 1964, Foothill Junior College in 1967 and San Jose State University in 1970.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Thibodaux.

Landry’s Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
