Patricia Ellen Buquet Murphy, 68, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Sept. 26.
She is survived by her mother, Audrey Autin Buquet; one son, Wayne Fredrick Murphy of Houma; two daughters, Sheri Murphy Ledet of Houma and Audra Murphy Neal and husband Malcolm James Neal of Houma; one sister, Judith Buquet Gibson of Houma; and four grandchildren, Austin Jack Murphy, Emily Ellen Ledet, Aubin James Neal and Zane Winfrey Neal.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aubin “A.J.” Buquet; husband, Donald W. Murphy; and one son, Jack Donald Murphy.
She was Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She was also a member of United Methodist Women, the Eastern Star of Houma and the Busy Bees Homemakers.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at First United Methodist Church with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
