Patricia Gwen Higgins Clark, 81, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, June 4.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Higgins Clark and wife Amy; daughter, Kathryn Clark Beachy and husband Bill; and grandchildren, Emily and Patrick Clark, and Nicholas Beachy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Clark; parents, Patrick L. and Julia Jastremski Higgins; son, Louis C. Clark; brother, Donald Patrick Higgins; and grandchild, Alexander Beachy.
She was a homemaker and an avid bridge player. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Chauvin Funeral Home.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
