March 11, 2014Paul A. Guidroz, 91, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Thursday, March 6, 2014.
Mr. Guidroz was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus and the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Holy Name Society. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and sharing his harvest with family and friends. He worked for Texaco for 32 years.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Georgette Guidroz; daughter, Geraldine (Randy) Cedotal; sister, Lillia Wise; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Firman and Bernadette Guidroz; son, Gary Guidroz; brothers, Louis, Clovis and Edward Guidroz; and sisters, Amelia Richoux, Amie Guidroz, Melvina Daniels, Mathilde Gray, Clotilde Terrebonne, Claudia Danos and Leona Allemand.
Burial is at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
