Paul Albert Solet Sr., 75, a native of Dulac, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Aug. 17, at 4:47 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Edelta Lodrigue Solet; two daughters, Alfreda Little and Paul Guy and husband Ricky Sr.; one brother, Addie Solet; one sister, Irene Billiot; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ellis and Lillian Verdin Solet; one son, Paul Solet Jr.; one brother, Abbie Solet; and five sisters, Marie Billiot, Victoria Boudreaux, Cecile Guidry, Olivia Guidry and Audrey Trahan.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at Holy Family #2 Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
