Thibodaux Chamber hosts awards banquet
January 19, 2010Paul Author Lapeyrouse, 91, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 at 10 p.m.
He is survived by his daughters, Sybil Theriot, Paula Lapeyrouse, Marilyn Fitch and Gail Russick; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Brown Lapeyrouse; parents, Oleus and Agnes Kelly Lapeyrouse; brother, Edward Lapeyrouse; and sisters, Gladys Prosperie and Louise Lapeyrouse.
He was a retired sheet metal smith.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Chauvin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
